We were awfully worried about the weather. During the night, the rain was torrential, and in the week leading up to the picnic, the road into the village was closed off, which meant there was only one route open for access. But as the day progressed, the sunshine appeared and smiled down upon the big picnic fun and activities. The road closure may have hampered us slightly; the numbers were down from last year’s event. However, it was still a good turnout, and it meant that the event was a manageable size. Here are some photos of the day.
Special thanks to Bangor Ukes for joining us. We love a good old sing along.
